At the meeting, attendees listened to a report on the progress of the preparatory work for the forum, studied and discussed the topic direction of the forum, especially how to well interpret the new form of human civilizations in academic research and common human values, and further discussed the list of important guests and representatives of scholars to be invited. Besides, important links were well marshalled, the time nodes of completion made clear, main work files improved and detailed, and work priorities next arranged and deployed.

 It was noted that to do a good job in holding the forum is a concrete move to implement the spirit delivered in the important speech of General Secretary Xi Jinping to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the Founding of the Communist Party of China, and also a vivid practice to do well in communicating fine traditional Chinese culture to the world. All attendees were required to raise their political stance as well as understanding and thinking, resolutely fulfill their duties and responsibilities, and finish each preparatory task with strenuous efforts ahead of time with a sense of urgency. Close attention should be paid to main processes and key links, overall coordination strengthened, and work plans detailed to finish the preparatory work with high standard, high quality and high level. 

It was stressed that successful experience of previous sessions should be further summarized to deliver a high-level forum with fresh characteristics. The preparatory work should be done with good quality and high efficiency, responsibilities assigned and fulfilled level by level, work at each link thoroughly implemented, and plans made in advance and well organized. Tasks related to guest invitation, activity process and publicity and report should be assigned in great details. Communication and work scheduling should be enhanced to finish each work task as scheduled and make The 7th Nishan Forum on World Civilizations a success.
