International friends experience traditional culture of Mid-Autumn Festival

As the Mid-Autumn Festival is approaching, Qiyi Community in Shizhong District, together with Shandong Provincial Experimental High School, gathered to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival, inviting foreign teachers, students and residents to make mooncakes and experience the unique charm of China's excellent traditional culture.

During the activity, the staff explained the history and customs of the Mid-Autumn Festival, as well as the myths related to the Mid-Autumn Festival. Through the ingenious combination of traditional festivals and English, international friends got to know the cultural connotation of the Mid-Autumn Festival, which was conducive to spreading the excellent traditional Chinese culture to the world.

Subsequently, under the guidance of community residents, they pressed the flour dough into thin circular shape, wrapped it with filling, and made it into a ball. Finally, various shapes and patterns of mooncakes were made using molds. Then, exquisite mooncakes took into shape in their hands, and everyone eagerly began to taste the mooncakes they had made by themselves.

This event not only allowed international friends to personally experience the joy of making mooncakes, but also immersed them in the unique charm and profound heritage of Chinese traditional culture, letting more people all over the world feel the charm of excellent Chinese traditional culture.
