At the media briefing on the China-France Year of Culture and Tourism held on January 4, the International Exchange and Cooperation Bureau of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the French Embassy in China jointly announced a series of activities to be duringthe China-France Year of Culture and Tourism.

The year 2024 marks the 60th anniversary of the establishment of China and France diplomatic relations. The China-France Year of Culture and Tourism will be held on this occasion with close cooperation and careful preparations bythe two sides. Hundreds of events will be hold covering performing arts, visual arts, cultural heritage and tourism promotion, including a concert to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the China and France diplomatic relations and the opening of the China-France Year of Culture and Tourism, "Hello! China"tourism promotion conference,the " Palace of Versailles and the Forbidden City "exhibition.
