2021 Multi-lingual Reciting Performance of Confucian Classics Opens in Jinan

2021 Multi-lingual Reciting Performance of Confucian Classics kicked off in Jinan on December 24. 

Many awards were presented on this annual event, including Best International Performer, Exceptional Bilingual Performer, Outstanding Bilingual Performer, Outstanding Performance, Outstanding Supervisor and Outstanding Organizer. Participating Chinese and international students and sinologists demonstrated the unique charm of Chinese culture through reciting of Confucian classics, stage performances, sing and dancing and martial art performance. 

Since its initiation over 100 days ago in September, the 2021 Multi-lingual Reciting Performance of Confucian Classics has received over 3200 performances submitted by nearly 10,000 Chinese culture lovers from 47 countries such as China, Russia, United States, United Kingdom, France, Switzerland, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam and Laos, and regions including Hong Kong and Macau SARs. It becomes a high-level communication platform to showcase the heritage of fine traditional Chinese culture, which is of great benefit to enhancing the exchanges and mutual learning between Chinese and foreign civilizations, promoting the creative transformation and innovative development of fine traditional Chinese culture, and setting off a worldwide craze for the spread of Chinese traditional culture. .

The 2021 Multi-lingual Reciting Performance of Confucian Classics was jointly sponsored by China Confucius Foundation, Nishan World Center for Confucian Studies and Shandong Provincial Department of Education, organized by Chinakongzi.com and Translators Association of Shandong Province, approved by Ministry of Culture and Tourism and supported by Center for Language Education and Cooperation, Translators Association of China and Shandong People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries.
