To Talk about Chinese Culture in Lao published by Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press (hereinafter referred to as FLTRP) was launched on December 1 in Kunming of Yunnan Province.

As the China-Laos Railway is about to open to traffic, a series of online cultural exchange activities between China and Laos were held simultaneously in Kunming, Xishuangbanna and Vientiane of Laos. To Talk about Chinese Culture in Lao was launched at the conference site in Kunming.

To Talk about Chinese Culture in Lao, as one of the books of “To Talk about Chinese Culture in Multiple Languages” published by FLTRP, includes four parts, namely "History Overview" "Philosophy and Thought" "Language and Literature" "Art and Culture". Full consideration is given to the characteristics of Lao language major, students' foreign language proficiency and other factors, and strive to meet the needs of the Lao language major in teaching Chinese culture.

It is understood that the book can be used by senior students majoring in Lao, teachers, and readers interested in Lao. At the same time, the book can be used as a textbook or a popular reading book for Confucius Institutes and Confucius Classrooms in Laos.
