According to Xinhuanet, The first Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Dawan District literature and art innovation forum was held on November 6. The forum was held both online and offline, with two venues in Beijing and Zhongshan.

The theme of the forum is "The Innovation-driven Future of Art in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area -Imagination and Expectations". There are four sub-forums, namely "Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area's Opportunities and Challenges for Promoting Art Innovation in the New Era" "Practices and Theoretical Building of Art with Innovative Ideas in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area " "Inheritance and Reshaping: Innovative Development of Fine Traditional Culture in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area from the Perspective of Regional Culture", and "Exploration of New Media Communication Based on the New Media Convergence Matrix".

The forum was under the direction of the Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Offices of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, Publicity Department of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and Publicity Department of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Macau Special Administrative Region, and co-sponsored by China Literature and Art Critics Association, the Literary and Art Review Center of China Federation of Literary and Art Circles and the Guangdong Federation of Literary and Art Circles.
